We are now back after a great trip. Thanks for helping out with the trip to the coffee farm in Minca. It was a highlight on our trip.
We just wanted to fill you in with some details that we thought would be of interest to you.

Tayrona
We really enjoyed our stay at the Ecohabs in Tayrona and are truly grateful that we chose to stay inside the park. Please note that there is both hot and cold water in the bathrooms (not only cold). The walking distance to a beach for swimming is 2 minutes not 30 minutes as mentioned. The closest beach is 30 seconds away and not for swimming.

Cartagena
The 3Banderas hotel has a great location. Please do not book standard rooms. They are small and without window. Luckily we were able to upgrade after one night. The beach visit was very nice and we loved the boat ride. The journey by car took 1,5 hours (not 1 hour) even with little traffic on the road. A boat trip from Cartagena would definitely have been preferred even thought the journey gave us a good glimpse of the outskirts of Cartagena.

We had the most amazing trip to Colombia organised via Neptuno by the amazing Lena Bartelt. With her help we changed around their Nature tour to suit our requirements and it resulted in the trip of a lifetime. The locations were beautiful, rich in wildlife and culture, and perfectly safe. The trip was expertly designed and coordinated by Lena and we really can’t thank her enough. We would highly recommend her as an expert travel agent and coordinator. Whenever there was an issue (of which there were vanishingly few) she was available instantly. In one location she even anticipated a last minute toll road protest, and adjusted our itinerary with skill and no hassle to us. The luxury and convenience of having transfers organised in advance, and having such knowledgeable guides was fantastic. If you’re considering a trip to Colombia, stop thinking about it and do it with Neptuno; it will be one of the best trips you ever do!

...After almost a week in Colombia we are having a fantastic time. The people are so friendly, the nature is stunning and the food is delicious. Everything is well organised, communication is good, the hotels are first class and our guides have been excellent. I am glad you convinced us to include the Coffee Region, we really are enjoying it here.
