Great news from the Caribbean coast: The popular eco-lodge Dos Aguas in the idyllic fishing village of Rincón del Mar has gradually resumed operations since July 1st following a renovation phase! After a devastating fire destroyed a large part of the property last year, this coastal gem is now step-by-step returning to its full glory.

About Dos Aguas Lodge: Dos Aguas is a charming beachfront boutique hotel nestled between the Caribbean Sea, a protected mangrove lagoon, and a lush native garden. Inspired by ancestral building techniques, the architecture blends local natural materials with contemporary design—crafted so that sea breezes and natural light flow freely through every space.

At the core of its philosophy lies a deeply rooted commitment to sustainable tourism: The lodge is designed as a space for shared encounters, offering travelers authentic connections with the local community while ensuring that travel directly benefits the inhabitants of Rincón del Mar socially, culturally, and environmentally.
