SOUTH-WEST

There is hardly a place that offers such great diversity in terms of landscape, climate and culture like the southwest of Colombia!
From the dry Tatacoa desert, which extends about 330 km² and impresses with its unique geological formations and spectacular stargazing views, to lush green mountainous landscapes in and around the archaeological hotspot San Agustin, scenic paramo near Popayan, or extremely water-rich regions near Cali, the country’s salsa metropole, and all along the valley of the Magdalena River, Colombia’s longest and most important stream – in the fascinating southwest of Colombia, every visitor can find what they are looking for!
A visit of this region can easily be integrated into almost any travel plan, due to the various airports and connective roads.
