Since we at Neptuno use this platform intensively to make your trips to Colombia as efficient and transparent as possible, we would like to give you a quick update today on the most important changes, challenges, and exciting plans for the future.

Navigating the transition phase together: As with almost any complex system migration, not everything went completely smoothly at the beginning. We are well aware that any design and system change requires an adjustment period in your daily business. Over the past few weeks, the Latinconnect team has been working flat out to resolve the initial teething problems and continues to treat bug fixing as an absolute priority.

• Our daily tip: If you encounter any errors, please open a ticket directly with the support team. The more precise the feedback, the faster the system will run smoothly for all of us. Thank you for your patience and your effort in getting used to the new design!

• Important note regarding our content: Online vs. Tailor-made: A large and excellent selection of our services is now viewable and available directly online on the platform. However, the sheer diversity of Colombia cannot be entirely pressed into fixed data templates. Many of our experiences, round trips, and tailor-made services must still be requested directly from us. So please feel free to use the platform as a strong foundation, but do not hesitate to contact us directly for that little something extra or for complex itineraries!

Optimization based on user feedback: What exactly is changing? Behind the new design is a major user survey conducted among over 1,700 platform users. The goal is clear: to focus on the features that truly matter for your daily business—such as live availability, dynamic pricing, and improved search functions. In return, a few rarely used features have been discontinued, such as adding mark-ups directly and branch management.

The future: AI tools and direct booking management: This transition lays the foundation for highly exciting tools that will revolutionize the way you work with us in the future:

• Full transparency: You will soon be able to view, manage, book directly, or cancel your bookings with us via the platform directly on the Latinconnect website.

• AI-powered product search & trip planner: An intelligent bot will enable searches using simple prompts (text inputs). In addition, an AI planner will link customizable itineraries directly with our real-time availability.

• API connection: The seamless integration of all content into third-party systems will become a reality.
